Below you can find information on the industry tutorial, it's functions and a walkthrough to assist you with your first steps as industry magnate, or should you get lost at any point following the tutorial.

Tutorial access
To get started with the industry tutorial, all you have to do is to find a VR tutorial station at any of the Markets or districts, on any of the planets / moons. Once there, interacting with the VR station or floor pad will provide the option to select all available tutorials including the Industry tutorial.
Phase 1 - Nano-crafter
Learn to use your personal nano crafter
- Get a batch or materials from the dispenser [F]
Interact with the dispenser by using [F] to receive items. - Open the crafting UI
Pressing [K] will open the nano-crafter. - Click on the ‘Show only doable’ checkbox
Found on the left side of the Nano-crafter window, toggled on/off with left mouse-click. - Select ‘Assembly Line S’
Also referred to as ‘Basic Assembly Line S’ and highlighted via a green box. - Click ‘Add to queue’
Highlighted in the main window, mouse-click will see the request be added to the right side under Queue. - Close the Nano-crafter UI
Pressing the X in the top right corner or using the [ESC] button to close the UI.
Phase 2 - Refining
- Get a batch from the dispenser
Player needs to go through the doorway, into the next room to find the dispenser. Activate by pressing [F] whilst looking at it. - Open the container
Opened by pressing [F] when facing and nearby. - Put all Chromite in the container
Mouse-click and drag the Chromite into the right side panel to complete the move. - Close the container UI
Pressing the X in the top right corner or using the [ESC] button to close the UI. - Activate the refiner
Opened by pressing [F] when facing and nearby. - Open the Schematic bank
Selecting the Schematic bank tab on the left side of the UI will reveal 2 inventory panels. - Drag the Schematic to the right
Mouse-click and drag the Pure Chromium Schematic to the right side inventory panel. - Click on Schematics
Mouse-click on the Schematic Selection tab on the left of the UI. - Tick the ‘Show only doable’ box
Mouse-click on the dark, empty box to select the option. - Select the ‘Pure Chromium’ Schematic
Highlighted in the green box, in the Search Schematic section of the window. - Click the ‘Apply’ button
Highlighted in the bottom right corner of the UI. - Click on the ‘Start’ button
The window should change to the Production tab, with the Start button highlighted in the center of the UI. - Click the ‘Finish & Stop’ button
Highlighted right next to the ‘Start’ button, when selected, the refining process should continue and not repeat once completed. - Listen to the explanation on input
- Listen to the explanation on output

Brief descriptions for the player to be aware of when using Industries. - Wait for the Pure Chromium production
Aphelia continues to explain the advantages and limitations of the Nano-crafter and Industries. - Wait for the Schematic to finish

Opened by pressing [F] when facing and nearby. - Open the Schematic bank
Found on the left side of the interface, and accessed by mouse-clicking. - Drag the Schematic to the right
Mouse-click and drag the Chromium Honeycomb Schematic to the right inventory panel. - Click on the Schematics button
Mouse-click on the Schematic Selection tab on the left side of the interface. - Select any Schematic and click ‘Apply’ Players will need to toggle the ‘Show only doable’ checkbox to refresh the list. Aphelia highlights an empty area of the screen until a Schematic is selected, revealing the Apply button.
- Start the process Mouse-clicking the highlighted ‘Start’ button, on the Production tab.
- Close the container UI (Honeycomb industry?)
Pressing the X in the top right corner or using the [ESC] button to close the UI. - Go to the next room
The door should open and allow players to walk through.
Phase 3 - Industries
Producing an end product
- Get a batch from the dispenser
Activated by pressing [F] when facing and nearby. - Enter Build Mode
Facing the highlighted assembly line, press [B] to enter Build Mode. - Activate your Link Tool
Selecting the chain link icon tool, by pressing the associated number, [6] by default. - Link a Container to the Assembly
By selecting a container first, with the Link tool and then selecting the Assembly Line, to define the connection as INPUT to the Assembly Line. - Link the Assembly to another container
By selecting the Assembly Line first, with the Link tool and then selecting the other container nearby, to define the connection as OUTPUT from the Assembly Line.
A container can only be used as Input OR Output, it cannot be used as both. - Open the input container
Accessed by pressing [F] when facing and nearby. - Put the items in the container
- Screws
- Frame
- Mobile Panel
- Power Systems
Mouse-click & drag the items over to the right side inventory panel, one at a time. - Close the Input container
Pressing the X in the top right corner or using the [ESC] button to close the UI. - Start making an Assembly Line M
At this point a player will need to use previous experience and intuition to proceed.
The player will need to access the Assembly Line S, using [F] and selecting on the Schematic bank tab. Here, they will need to click & drag the schematic from the left, over to the right side inventory panel.
Next, selecting the Schematic Selection tab and toggling ‘Show only doable’ to refresh the list, revealing ‘Basic Assembly Line M’ to be chosen. This must then be applied.
After applying, the interface will change to the Production tab, where the player will need to click on the ‘Start’ button.
Exit the tutorial via the teleporter
Pressing the X in the top right corner or using the [ESC] button to close the UI and then walking through the doorway to the right (north-west), activating the pod on the floor with [F].
